We Breathe New Air for the First Time

writing to you on a Tuesday from Mexico City with some extremely cool news - - -

ALLORA - my long awaited "insane Italian record" of legend will be arriving this summer in a vivid LP edition via newly revitalized label Tiny Engines. Incredibly, it is the first "Ben Seretan" album of songs and guitar in over four years.

recorded over 72 manic hours in the hills above Venice in 2019, ALLORA is a document, an artifact, a relic of another world. It shows our intrepid, sweaty power trio (me + Nico + Dan) tearing joy free from the jaws of despair and making a tremendous racket while doing it.

the whole album comes out July 26th and today we share "New Air," an 8-minute kosmiche guitar jammer that features some of the most deliciously sloppy, the most dementedly mournful, and the most awesomely cathartic guitar shit-ripping I have ever laid down to tape - - - you WILL want to cut off the sleeves of your t-shirt when you hear it!
